Big Screen Entertainment Group Acquires Thrilling Script From Taj Jackson/Sco Triplets

HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwired - May 30, 2014) - Big Screen Entertainment Group ( PINKSHEETS : BSEG ) has optioned the rights to the new script by Taj Jackson, nephew of Michael Jackson, and the Brazilian Sco triplets (Thaisa, Thaina, and Thayana Sco) on a project titled CODE Z. Taj Jackson is also on board to direct.

CODE Z, originally began as a tribute to Taj's late uncle, Michael Jackson, inspired by the King of Pop's iconic music video, THRILLER. Taj said, "The last words my Uncle Michael said to me was 'after this, we're doing films.' He was referring to his "This Is It Tour" and going into films after that with me. Unfortunately, he was never able to fulfill this, but I will do my best to carry on this dream for him."

The Sco Triplets added the following:

Thayana Sco - "I'm happy to be a part of a team of passionate and successful people, where women and men collaborate in business together as equals and one! That's very motivating and inspiring!"

Thaisa Sco - "It is a delight and a breath of fresh air to be working with such genuine, caring, talented and business driven people in this industry."

Thaina Sco - "The inspiration for me when creating and writing Code Z along with my partners definitely came from growing up watching Romero's and Hitchcock's movies with my grandma and my sisters as a child (yes, as a child) and playing all Resident Evil video games. I'm so glad we all share common passion for the genre."

Described as a cross between the original RED DAWN and TOY SOLDIERS, it takes place during a zombie outbreak, the script is being penned by Jackson and the Sco triplets, who will also be producing along with BSEG's Kimberley Kates and the Big Screen team, Michael Manasseri, Stephen Eckelberry and Isaac Marble.

CODE Z is the first in a trilogy. BSEG's CEO Kimberley Kates said, "We are excited to be working with such a talented group of artists on this phenomenal project."

BSEG has come aboard as a producer and distributor, talks are underway with a major studio for wide release.
