Concurrent Technologies Corporation Awarded $2.5 M

JOHNSTOWN, Pa., May 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Edward J. Sheehan, Jr., President & Chief Executive Officer of Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), announced today that CTC was awarded an additional $2.5 million to continue to support the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service Human Capital Management (HCM) Technology Branch. CTC has been supporting the USDA Forest Service since 2008. This award brings the total contract value to more than $15 million.

Under this contract, CTC will continue to provide business and information systems to support HCM efforts to reengineer its Human Resources business processes, including: reducing redundant systems; increasing collaboration and information sharing among employees; decreasing time spent on HR support functions and administrative tasks; increasing the number of support and administrative functions deployed Department-wide using technology; and increasing the consistent delivery of accurate and valid management reports and analysis.
