And if the truth was any different they would be running these "great" machines continuously and turning a profit selling the output. Early on Mr. Bordynuik's gums were flapping freely about making an oil at a total cost of under $10 per barrel and how he had an offer in hand from Somerset Refinery to buy that oil for around $80 per barrel (WTI - $3). Apparently after Mr. Bordynuik was charged with accounting fraud for cooking the books with the media credits, Mr. Bordynuik started to see that getting charged with fraud for the fake $10/bbl claim was a possible reality and his lips slammed shut about that claim. From then on he carefully chose his words to keep the story alive while trying to suggest his fake claims in softer terms.
