During the giveaway, a lucky winner each day received a Rawlings "Heart of the Hide Glove" of their choice (retail value $200). This promotion is part of the Play It Again Sports Everybody Plays campaign, helping players in all sports and at all levels of play get the gear they need to enjoy sports and activities.
With the close of the promotion, Play It Again Sports announces its Lancaster, Pa. location as the most outstanding store performer, signing-up the most contestants—totaling more than 4,000—for a chance to win in the daily giveaway. As part of this recognition, owner Harold Probst will be presented with the Rawlings Golden Glove trophy on Friday, May 30 at 11 a.m. EDT, which will be displayed in his store for a year. The Golden Glove award is given annually by Rawlings to Major League Baseball players who have exhibited superior individual fielding performances at each fielding position in both the National League and the American League.
