ArmourLite Previewing New Navigator Diver Series and Officer Field Series Watches at JCK Las Vegas 2014 (Booth B-2608)

LAS VEGAS, NEV., May 29, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Whether your passion is scuba diving, hiking, mountain climbing, surfing, or just about any "awesome" adventure, ArmourLite has a watch for you. ArmourLite is excited to preview two new highly anticipated watch series at JCK Las Vegas 2014 : the ArmourLite Navigator Diver Series and the ArmourLite Officer Field Series.

The all-new ArmourLite Navigator Diver Series watches were designed to satisfy the tastes of adventurers around the world. "We consulted with a lot of hardcore adventure seekers and this new series incorporates all the design elements that were highly demanded by these individuals," explains Ashley Diener, CEO of ArmourLite. Navigating the land and seas just got a whole lot easier!

The Navigator Diver Series watches are the first tritium illuminated watches to offer a screw crown with a polycarbonate case. Traditional polycarbonate case construction makes it difficult to incorporate a screw crown. Rather, push crowns are commonly used. In addition to the ultra lightweight polycarbonate construction, anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal is used. Swiss Ronda 507 quartz movements with day and date displays power the watches. A unidirectional rotating bezel with a green tritium marker at the zero-position is useful for keeping track of elapsed time. Plus, the watches offer 200m of dive-friendly water resistance. The dials feature green and orange tritium markers as well as compass bearings. Each watch also comes with an NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) band that is heavily resistant to oils, greases, and extreme temperatures.

The first model in the ArmourLite Navigator Diver Series, AL1001, will be available for sale later this year. ArmourLite authorized retailers will begin taking pre-orders immediately following JCK Las Vegas.

The ArmourLite Navigator Diver Series watches offer the following features:
-       Green, orange, yellow T25 tritium markers on the dial
-       Compass bearings on the dial
-       Ultra lightweight polycarbonate case construction
-       Swiss Ronda 507 quartz movement with day and date displays
-       Anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal
-       200m water resistance rated for diving
-       Unidirectional elapsed-time bezel with a green tritium marker
-       44mm diameter case
-       Highly durable NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) band
-       MSRP: $325.00

The all-new ArmourLite Officer Field Series watches offer ArmourLite's unique Armourglass crystal. Armourglass is a revolutionary shatterproof crystal that is 8 times stronger than a standard watch crystal. Supporting the Armourglass is ultra tough stainless steel case construction with a dive-friendly water resistance of 100m. The non-chronograph models in the Officer Field Series come with Swiss Ronda 517 quartz movements while the chronograph models come with Swiss Ronda 5040.D quartz chronograph movements. The dials feature either green and orange or blue and orange T25 tritium markers. For enhanced visibility, there are 2 tritium markers at the 12:00 position on each dial and 2 tritium markers on each hour hand.

The first 12 models in the ArmourLite Officer Field Series will be available for sale later this year. ArmourLite authorized retailers will begin taking pre-orders immediately following JCK Las Vegas.

The ArmourLite Officer Field Series watches offer the following features:
-       Multicolor T25 tritium markers on the dial (color depends on model)
-       Stainless steel case construction
-       Non-Chronograph: Swiss Ronda 517 quartz movement
-       Chronograph: Swiss Ronda 5040.D quartz chronograph movement
-       Armourglass crystal
-       100m water resistance rated for diving
-       45mm diameter case
-       Leather band or stainless steel bracelet (depends on model)
-       MSRP: $440.00 - $525.00

The hands, number markers, and bezel on each ArmourLite watch features small, self-luminous tritium-filled vials. This safe and reliable permanent illumination technology allows the user to easily tell the time at a glance, even in the darkest lighting conditions. Tritium illumination is commonly used for the instrument dials in aircraft, compasses and night sights for weapons since it does not require a battery or external power supply and it remains constantly illuminated for 20+ years.

An ArmourLite representative will be available for interviews onsite during JCK Las Vegas. Please email pr@armourlite.com or visit booth B-2608 to schedule an interview.
