VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 27, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Evrim Resources Corp. (TSX.V:EVM) (" Evrim " or the " Company ") is pleased to announce that it has closed the non-brokered private placement announced on May 7, 2014 (the " Private Placement "). The company has issued 5,000,000 shares for gross proceeds of $1,600,000. The shares will be subject to a 4 month hold expiring on September 28, 2014. Proceeds from the Private Placement will be used for exploration and working capital purposes. Finder's fees of $26,016 were paid in conjunction with the Private Placement.
In connection with the Private Placement, Paul Van Eeden, of 205 – 713 Davis Dr., Newmarket, Ontario, reports that on May 27, 2014 he acquired through 2260761 Ontario Inc., ownership, directly or indirectly, of 1,028,875 common shares of Evrim at a price of $0.32 per common share. As a result, Mr. Van Eeden now has ownership, directly or indirectly, of 4,117,875 common shares of Evrim being 12.2% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Evrim.
