remember the MM makes the spread
so those ridiculous drops of about 5% or even higher sometime below the bid and ask.
The mm pulls in that 5%, 5% for doing nothing and if you look at the graph, all day.
THE SWINGS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, THE mm MAKES THE SPREAD ON BUYS AND SELLS!
So a few Million a week, its a lot of Money for the MM!
As for the Shorters, they do not need shares to short, they have been doing some naked shorting. All they have to do is cover when the stock is down. So if you short 250,000 shares, you can buy when it is down 10% and you make 10%, or you can just never buy them if the stock is going to close negatively!
