My Due diligence on DUTV. First a little about me. I have been accumulating DUTV shares over the past two years as I believe IPTV is an up and coming technology. My position in DUTV exceeds 10m shares.
Due to the late filing of the Q I decided to try and contact DUTV via the telephone number listed in their annual report - (877)254-4195. I have called this number numerous times before and received an answering machine where I have left messages – with no return calls. However, this time was different. Over a three day period I tried this number numerous times only to have the phone ring and ring and ring. This concerned me so I took the next step and contacted the DUTV accountant listed in their annual report - Christian Cornell Phone# (801) 573-4719. Christian answered the phone and was very pleasant. I questioned him on the Q and he stated that I needed to speak with McHenry as he didn’t know the status. I explained that the number for DUTV wasn’t working and I requested that he provide me a number to contact Gary McHenry – he provided me with (954) 551-7701.
As you might expect I called the number provided and a gentleman answered. I explained that I was trying to get in contact with Gary McHenry regarding the status of the DUTV Q report. He said that Gary was late due to an injured back and that Gary had transferred his calls to the gentleman I was speaking with – I asked that he take a message for Gary to call me. I waited 24 hours for a return call with no luck so I called the number again. This time I received a voice mail greeting stating this is Gary McHenry of Mathews International. What is interesting is I firmly believe the voice on the phone greeting was the voice of the person I spoke with the previous day. It is my opinion that I was speaking with McHenry the previous day.
As a result of the phone call I have more questions than answers. Why does Gary McHenry answer the phone – “Mathews Int.” Is there a connection between this company and DUTV. Is this possibly another company McHenry works for? Is McHenry still involved with DUTV. Is DUTV still a going concern. I am sharing my experience with the board to gain opinions and insight from fellow investor on this board. Thank you.
