It wasn't a coincidence that the regulatory agencies in both Canada and the United States fined John-Boy, and both banished him from being an officer or director of any public company for five years, with the Canadians officially reprimanding him. John-boy even admitted to having committed crimes in the Canadian settlement. Hard to ignore, when someone admits to committing crimes that were not in the interest of his investors. Kinda sends a message to the public in two countries that John-Boy isn't Mr. Clean.
More likely judges and juries are going to think that someone would have to have some kind of mental problem not to arrive at the conclusions that JBI is a scam and John-Boy is a crook.
