Here's the value added, John...
RIGH isn't some new (just off-the-shelf) company, as we know. Angel has kept the business flowing, increasing brand name and waiting for the RIGHt opportunity to go "full speed ahead" in California.
Connect the dots...
Look how "Geared Up" Angel was in 2012! He was stoked!!!
Then the far right took over in California. I mean at that point, California had regained momentum and likely would have had pot on the ballot. Then BAM, the far right started kicking doors down (along with the fed) to close MJ businesses left and right.
Go back and look at PCA-LA's activity, marching lock-in-step with Angel's business. They all but closed comms down when the fed hit in Mid 2012. We are talking BGMT's bread and butter shops being raided and closed left and right (or scared out of their wits with eviction and cease and desist letter by the fed).
Just prior to President Obama's (pro pot) remarks in early 2014, the California atmosphere had reversed course. 57% of voters were in favor of R-MJ in November 2013. Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom is Ying to Governor Jerry Brown's Yang (and is pro pot), and is successfully changing the attitudes of the far right.
So back to Angel and BGMT, and connect the dots...
If your primary environment you are trying to operate in is hostile, the law of war is you are going to be less effective (or to be effective you are going to have to expend far greater resources and capital to make it happen).
Guess what?
