They are both opinions. She did not call Mr. Chaaban a sucker, she stated that she thinks in this situation he may have been suckered by someone else. Call it suckered, call it baited into something, who knows, because I certainly can't know what is in anyone's mind unless they actually state it directly.
You have no idea what Bill's intentions are unless Bill actually told you or wrote them in some message post. If Catty or anyone wants to express their opinion that they feel someone got suckered into something they have the right to do so, just as you are expressing you opinion of what you think Bill's intentions are.
So when you decide to check someone else's tone, try checking your own first and see if you have done the same with your opinions in a public forum.
Of course this is all IMO.
