The customer is not going to pay JBI to take the plastic. That was never part of the plan. JBI was thrilled to just get free plastic. That part of the plan was a pipedream.
Then there are transportation costs.
But never mind that.
We had been told that the plan was to place JBI owned and operated processors on customer sites with some amount of revenue sharing.
There was supposed to be the continue operation of the N.F. facility, but the logistics became unworkable with the thin margins.
Thin margins are not an issue for the owner of the plastic waste stream. As long as they are not so thin that the cost of the processor makes no sense.
We wait to see if there are ANY customers who believe it makes sense.
