It really cracks me up in a ridiculous way the way the words are used.
"Intent", yes Bill Chaaban intends to build an MMJ producing facility. Yes and he intends it so much that he went and got huge backers and financing. It's not like he's saying, "I intend to go to the Drive In theater tonight" and then bags that idea because of rain. There are millions and millions and millions of $ invested and buildings going up etc. If you listed all the steps this company has taken to fulfill that "Intent", you then see the reality of that intent not being some whimsically folly.
"No zoning issues", the key word is "Issues." Everything in life is an issue. Webster's defines it as "something that people are talking about, thinking about, etc". So absolutely everything in life is an issue. That doesn't mean it is a negative, but this culture we live in perceives it negatively when the word "Issue" is presented.
People writing slanderous slanted commentary know how to use the language to stay just this side of the line when using the language.
"must face the zoning board", No shit... I must face the gas pump every time I fill my tank. I must face the DMV person to renew my drivers license picture and go through the paperwork process. That doesn't mean it's a negative experience or I'm going to be denied my drivers license. My ass has to face the toilet paper when I wipe and that's a good thing, nothing negative about that at all.
