Re: Viper1 #15641
I have absolutely zero experience with acquiring permits for operational ventures--I have been a stock broker for over 25 years--so I could write my knowledge of permits on the back of a postage stamp and still have room. My experience is in charting and technical analysis of fundamental price movement, I also have my juris doctor degree, and I currently consult for a large firm for the acquisition and retention of large cap clientele.

With my background public, I can see both sides to HIMR's current situation. I understand that things arise unexpectedly and that in operations of this magnitude, obstacles can be presented---that is true of almost all things in life. I just cannot fathome that this is as "normal" as it is made to seem. The fact that we can move along and keep accepting these set backs without adequate answers strikes me forcibly. I find it damn near impossible--legality wise--for proper permitting instructions to not be available. How could anyone conceivably do business in a country/state that does not have a fluid system? It is business that borderlines barbaric/piratist and I have great difficulty fathoming such a state to exist within a country that is one of the most highly-trafficed business operators in the world.

I do not doubt that shit happens, what I doubt is that this is par for the course.
