SARASOTA, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 02/01/12 -- Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTGP) (Global) announces Global has acquired an exclusive license for China to use the IFS2c process claimed in the IFS2c patents for reduction treatment and removal of Mercury from cement plants from Solucorp Industries.
"With the successful testing of Mercury contaminated carbon in cement plants with the IFS2c process, authenticating that the Mercury content had been reduced to zero and following meetings in Beijing recently with companies and contacts in the cement industry, we believe the market for Global is substantial. China is number one in cement production and currently produces 40% of the world's concrete for both internal construction and export and has embarked on a greener policy that will cover the next five years for air pollution and Mercury reduction for their cement industry as well as their power plants. Estimates for the number of cement plants alone in China is 6,000 to 9,000 plants operating currently. As an additional result of the meetings, Global will be opening representative offices in Beijing and Singapore," stated James Fallacaro, President.
