(NASDAQ: CBOE) today reported record net income allocated to common stockholders of $48.5 million, or $0.56 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2014, compared with $41.8 million, or $0.48 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2013. On an adjusted basis, net income allocated to common stockholders was $50.0 million, or $0.58 per diluted share, compared with $43.9 million, or $0.50 per diluted share, in the same period last year. Operating revenue for the quarter was $157.9 million, up 11 percent compared with $142.7 million in the first quarter of 2013.
