New Century Bancorp (the "Company" NASDAQ: NCBC), the holding company for New Century Bank, today reported net income of $1.3 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2013, and basic and diluted earnings per share of $0.18 compared to net income of $1.2 million and basic and diluted earnings per share of $0.17 for the second quarter of 2012.
