We saw the same thing with the 2Q2012 filings. As the days ticked away to the end of September it became an easier and easier bet on when the filing would be made 
If the Thursday / Friday PR theory holds true, tomorrow AM starts the "open window" for something to be issued.
Good luck with your investment. The really good news IMO is the TA acquisition news and everything that flows thereafter.
