Well, The point was not to compare, but to illustrate that the cost of specialized machinery seems to be going up. I think back in the early 2000's when the prototype was around the cost was said to be in the 650K range for a full scale one. I would expect it to be costing considerably more today.
And the cost makes a tigerlynk being built anytime soon even that much more unlikely.
