Penny stocks are highly volatile stocks Brubowsky. They are volatile because of the ease an investor has to buy and sell massive quanities of shares. MM's make money by buying when their is selling, and selling when their is buying, they essentially do the opposite of whatever the momentum of the stock is dictating by open trading.
