Budd is a very sharp reader and critical thinker. I see what he is saying now. Read the passage very carefully. His point can be inferred from the passage. The piece can almost be read as somewhat apologetic in reference to their focus on Yak while taking their time "perfecting" their new offerings Dharmanol and T-Hydrocan. Note "we are developing" rather than "we developed." Essentially, it says, we're doing fine with our pre-existing YAK line so we're not pushing the "new offerings" from BB which compete with YAK.
The new product lines we are developing, Dharmanol™ and T-Hydrocan™, are meant to “upgrade” the YAK capsule model to be more in line with the nutraceutical / pharmaceutical market, as opposed to the more casual approach that is common in the development, packaging and marketing of products commonly found in the medical marijuana world.
Because we have the YAK Capsules available in hundreds of California dispensaries, we feel that we can take our time somewhat in perfecting our new offerings, because the market for them is being fulfilled with the YAK capsules currently, which generate substantial ongoing revenues, and have done so for about six years.
