As far as customers wanting JBI's process because you think it's green, why exactly do you think it's green? Incinerators used to produce heat and power also keep waste out of landfills. Plastic recyclers keep some plastic out of landfills. I don't exactly see where JBI fits in the 'green' spectrum. Competing with others for a less green, less profitable solution??
If JBI's process is unprofitable and only ambiguously green, who would buy a processor at any price?
And almost three years ago Mr. Bordynuik represented to shareholders that a processor could take RockTenn's landfilled plastic and profitably make fuel...enough to even kick back a portion of the revenues to RockTenn. All the free plastic JBI could want and all that was needed was a processor, even a subpar processor, on RockTenn's grounds. What do you think was the problem with the RockTenn deal?
