Regulus Announces Adoption of Advance Notice By-Law

Regulus Resources Inc. ("Regulus" or the "Company"
, (TSX VENTURE: REG) is pleased to announce that the board of directors (the "Board" of Regulus has adopted an advance notice by-law (the "Advance Notice By-law". The Advance Notice By-law sets forth provisions requiring advance notice to the Company in circumstances where nominations of persons for election to the Board are made by shareholders of the Company other than pursuant to: (i) a "proposal" made in accordance with section 136(1) of the Business Corporations Act (Alberta) (the "Act"; or (ii) or a requisition of the shareholders made in accordance with section 142(1) of the Act. More specifically, the Advance Notice By-law fixes a deadline by which holders of record of common shares of Regulus must submit director nominations to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company prior to any annual or special meeting of shareholders and sets forth the specific information that a shareholder must include in the written notice to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company for an effective nomination to occur. No person will be eligible for election as a director of the Company unless nominated in accordance with the provisions of the Advance Notice By-law.
Regulus Commences Drilling at the Cerro Cori Gold Target

Regulus Resources Inc. ("Regulus" or the "Company" (TSX VENTURE: REG) has commenced a drilling campaign at the Company's 100% owned Cerro Cori gold target located two kilometres northeast of the main Rio Grande Project in Salta Province, Argentina. Near-surface gold mineralization was discovered with a single drill hole at Cerro Cori in late 2012 (RGR-12-118 with 297 m containing 0.36 g/t Au from the surface - please see press release of November 16, 2012). In the intervening months the Company has completed a follow-up program consisting of trenching, geological mapping, and extension of the existing ground magnetic survey in preparation for the current drilling program.

Regulus Resources Inc. Twenty-eight drill holes were completed in this campaign for a total of 24,970 metres. Drilling is expected to recommence later in Q1/2013 and will focus on the new near surface Cerro Cori gold target (formerly Northeast Zone) located 2 kilometres to the northeast of the Rio Grande ring structure (please see news release of November 16, 2013).
