I do understand how a reverse split works and no it doesn't always work the way you explained. Sometimes in a reverse split of let's say 1:10 the PPS does not rise to the level of an equal dollar value with the share holder having less shares. There are plenty of examples of the PPS not rising at the ratio level to have your account reflect an equal dollar amount.
As far as apples to oranges, the point is that FITX does not need a reverse split to rise to a different exchange. FITX needs revenue and that will make the PPS rise. The comparison to Facebook and Ford is to show that it is possible to have that many Outstanding Shares in the marketplace and also have a respectable PPS.
