Green EnviroTech Holdings Corp (“GETH”) is a publicly traded Delaware corporation under the symbol (GETH). Green EnviroTech is a converter of waste plastic and rubber destine to landfills into a quality Oil that will be utilized by the oil refineries to create a variety of products. The Company was established in 2008 by Gary De Laurentiis and is headquartered in California. Plans are in place to open the first plastic and rubber conversion plant in western US. The Company has created a subsidiary: Green EnviroTech Wisconsin, LLC, (“GETH WISC”) in anticipation of opening a plant that will convert plastic and rubber from shredder residue into crude oil in Wisconsin.
There are three main categories of waste products that GETH utilizes as feedstock:
Rubber & other rubber products - Waste tires are abundant throughout the US in stockpiles and our landfills. The EPA estimates that each person in the US produces a waste tire annually equally 314 million additionally waste tires each year.
Agricultural Plastics Films and 3-7 waste plastics from material recovery facilities throughout the US. These materials are generally discarded in landfills because they are considered non-recyclable and no value.
Shredder Residue (SR) - SR is a by-product produced by metal recyclers, who shred automobiles and large appliances as a part of their metal recovery process. SR is comprised of the remaining material not recovered by the metal recyclers and is comprised of approximately 25% mixed types of plastics (includes “high” and “low” grade plastics), some metals and rubber. As of today, all SR is discarded in landfills throughout the US.
