I just began investing and FITX was the first stoc

I began following some of the stocks in the MJ industry in mid December before Christmas break and the first stock I found and liked was GRNH....I wanted to start investing at that point....I wrote down $500 on a piece of paper and told myself that was what I was willing to invest....days later it would have been worth so much more. I watched GRNH sore 1700% without a penny invested and then watched the same thing happen to CANV, CBIS, etc.
It was by chance I came across FITX and unfortunately for me I overlooked them at first. I paired them together with ERBB because from the surface I didn't see how they could be involved with the industry....poor DD on my part.
My roommate eventually invested in PHOT and he began doing in depth DD so I took the reigns and wanted to go one step further. I found FITX and encouraged him to invest, even giving him some money as start-up to encourage him.
I kept searching through the trash on IFLUB and eventually landed here. My roommate would come by my room every night, look at me and say "we're gunna be rich." (coming from a guy who lives by week-to-week on grocery money). The excitement in his eyes was incredible and all I thought was....
... There is only so many times that being conservative pays off ...
I've invested half of my savings as a student and my roommate intends to do the same once he is able to increase his holdings. We've both already had to deal with the parents asking us "what they hell we're doing with our money," but we just sit here...waiting to see the first 100%....the first sign that our decision truly might pay off.
The funny part is....we aren't telling our parents what stock we are involved in and we aren't telling them that we've made any money until the day we sell. That is the goal at least.... the excitement may be hard to hide...
I am not the average student, I am very frugal with my money and thanks to my savings I was able to buy into FITX. I'm comfortable with my holdings and I know that (depending on how Bills an FITX decide to reduce the outstanding shares) I might be able to put, at least, a down payment on my first house.
Depending on how the next few years go, my goal with FITX is to fund several causes. The key is that no split occurs. My goal is to: put a down payment on a house, buy a car (used or otherwise), pay for future life events, take my family on vacation AND....my last goal is to pay off my two roommates debts for university.
I thank my roommates for introducing me to stocks and for encouraging me to invest in FITX and since they lack sufficient savings to make a substantial investment in FITX I want to give back to them.
I wish the best for everyone and I hope that in a few years everyone is able to relax and enjoy their investment.
