Let me come clean. I called the FAA 2 weeks ago. The New York FAA office first, they told me they were not handling the case anymore but wouldn't tell me where it was at. So obviously I called Michigan's. I talked to someone there and they told me that they couldnt discuss anything PERIOD at all about Baltia but he has heard of the airline, obviously. SO it was somewhat encouraging to hear him acknowledge that aspect. He was very professional with me and straight to the point saying he could not discuss it. I kept on him about trying to get something, an ounce of information, the guy was playing hard ball. So I just asked him, IS BALTIA SEEKING FAA CERTIFICATION or NOT??? He told me to contact them to ask them that, I said I have contacted them and they say they are, and he said well doesnt that answer your question? that was pretty much the jist of the convo. take it for what its worth, to me it can be taking both good and bad. I don't understand why the FAA cannot discuss anything related to the certification. And if Baltia is FAA gagged how can they? We are completely left in the dark and guessing, making this investment even more risky...
