Hey Jax:

My story probably isn't that different from any of yours. There wasn't a single moment of clarity, it's been more of a process, and my expectations of what FITX would mean to me has changed over the course of my purchases over the last several months. At first, I saw it as a fun gamble along with several other plays (including PHOT), and only committed Vegas-level money (money you're prepared to lose 100% of) to any of them.

I've spent my entire life in California, where we've been witnessing the societal impacts of medical mj for the last 18 years, (nothing negative that I can see) and have had a much longer time to come to the conclusion that to be scared of the reefer is madness. So I consider myself an 'early-adopter' of the concept that medical mj could quickly sweep across this country once a few critical dominos fall. Such as, oh I don't know, a rescheduling? And the data coming out of Colorado has already or will soon show how legal recreational mj does nothing to increase levels of addicition but has a great impact on the reduction of crime & violence. Not to mention Colorado schools now have more money than they know what to do with.

Of course, my passionate position against the war on drugs and interest in the societal impacts of legalization led me years ago to a keen interest in the history of alcohol Prohibition, and how it made our country so much worse.

So I think my interest in the history of Prohibition caused me to recognize the potential of Canada's MMPR and how one of my positions, FITX, was in the perfect place to capitalize on it. Around then is when I started feeling like I'd be stupid NOT to put more than just Vegas-money into it.

I was lurking at ihub for the longest time, actually appreciating the bashing in the sense that my philosophy is "facing the waves head-on and remaining upright proves you're in the right" and I figured if what I believed about FITX was true, then cogent counter-arguments from those who had obviously done their DD (looking at you Neuronal and johnnylightning) would show me that FITX could withstand the bashing. And it has.

So over that time, as I continued my DD not just on FITX but on all other current and potential holdings, I realized that the only one I felt any passion for, the only one with truly unrealized potential, was FITX. By this time I had already sold all non-mmj holdings in favor of FITX, with just a little scrap of PHOT and another unmentionable mmj waiting for a pop.

Then PHOT got suspended. Over the next two weeks as I contemplated what to do with my PHOT, I resolved to go all-in on FITX. It was because during that time, Bill squashed so many of my doubts. The way he handled the PHOT disaster was masterful. At first when I read about the partnership with PPMG I was like WTF, but as soon as I realized that Germinario came about as a result of that partnership, I guess maybe that was the closest I got to a single moment of clarity. The addition of Felten was icing on the cake. Fortunately I got out of PHOT at a slight profit (basis of $0.18, sold at $0.22), and I did what I said I would do: I went all-in.

Thanks for reading!

Ocean
