That ACH immediate availability is awesome. The guys at my local bank branch get a big chuckle every time they see me come in the door. Before I even make it across the bank they are turning to pull out the wiring instructions to Scottrade that they have kept on file from the many previous wires over the past 3 months - since I am forced to do wires to get availability. Even with the wire I'm then back to the computer - first waiting to see funds leave my bank account and then anxiously waiting for them to hit the brokerage acct.
