Great NORML article on recent poll numbers and momentum going into Nov 6th MJ elections!

"In October, 2011, for the first time ever, Gallup reported a plurality of Americans, 50%, were in favor of legalizing marijuana, with 46% opposed. Then, in March, 2012, Rasmussen also reported a plurality of Americans in favor of “legalizing and taxing” marijuana (47% favored, 42% opposed) in order to “help the nations financial problems. However, the biggest news came just a few months later when Rasmussen, again, asked the question, but with a slightly different slant. In May, Rasmussen asked Americans if they were favored legalizing and regulating marijuana “in a manner similar to alcohol and tobacco,” and the answer was overwhelmingly yes, with 56% in favor and just 36% opposed. Considering the polling trend over the past decade, this most recent poll seems to suggest that we are nearing a point where Americans support marijuana legalization at a two to one margin. This is huge news..."
It's mere weeks before the election and the updated pools are suggesting MJ legalization could actually pass!!
In this old PR announcing the CBIS JV with SFIO, this was stated,
"...estimated there are at least 5,000 medical marijuana patients in San Diego County, and it’s probable there are considerably more. Medical marijuana advocates say there could be 60,000.” “There are more marijuana dispensaries in Los Angeles than there are Starbucks,” candidate Chris Kelly said in a June 23rd San Diego Tribune article. According to Wikipedia, “Across California there are an estimated 2,100 dispensaries, co-operatives, wellness clinics and taxi delivery services in the sector known as 'cannabusiness.' That is more than all the Starbucks, McDonald’s and 7-Eleven outlets in the state put together17, according to The Sunday Times.”

Amazing statistics for the MJ industry, just in California. This was all talk surrounding the Prop 19 vote last year but I think it still applies generally to the industry for this time around with the MJ legalization votes. The industry is huge! Imagine many of those dispensaries selling RFMK P.I.R.D. for the CannaCig along with selling the CannaCig and Cumulus vaporizers!! Imagine how many legal MJ start up businesses would want to use RFMK's MCM services for branding and marketing!! RFMK could become a huge business in the future, especially if the MJ vote is a positive.
GLTA!
