Monster Arts Launches Zombie Slasher(R) Nashville in Deal with Andy Ross and Max Apps LLC
Orange County, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 25, 2014 / Monster Arts, Inc. (OTCQB:APPZ) is pleased today to announce its deal to launch a new advanced version of Zombie Slasher® titled "Zombie Slasher Nashville by Andy Ross". Zombie Slasher® is an Iconosys top seller and the brand was licensed to Monster Arts last summer in the game licensing agreement. Under the terms of the parties' licensing arrangement, Monster Arts will pay Iconosys a royalty payment equal to 30% of Monster Art's share of net proceeds from download sales. There is no initial licensing fee or annual fee payment that is due from the licensee.
On the heels of a successful launch of Andy Ross Zombie Targets Game and Andy Ross Zombie Targets for retail sale, Monster Arts has further entered into a revenue sharing and strategic marketing alliance agreement with TV Star Andy Ross and his affiliated marketing partner, Max Apps LLC, pursuant to which Monster will design and develop the new app, "Zombie Slasher® Nashville," which will directly or indirectly be promoted by Mr. Ross on both his hugely popular television show, Maximum Archery, as well as in his many public appearances and promotional events. Under the terms of the marketing alliance, Monster and Ross-Max Apps will split the net revenues (after deducting only the online markets commission fees and the celebrity royalties) from the new app on a 50-50 basis. The new app will be a foundation and cornerstone property for the launch of future apps and future projects by the parties.
Zombie Slasher® Nashville is a significant technological advancement from former Zombie Slasher game properties, where this one includes the ability to purchase additional and unique weaponry, bonus and hidden rounds, global leader-board tracking, and a surprising new ending to the game.
By registering for the game, a user will receive one of Andy Ross' popular paper Zombie Targets in the mail, (just pay shipping and handling of $.99).
The game also has links to http://www.andyross.com/, Mr. Ross's Facebook Page as well as his online merchandise store and to other Andy Ross approved games.
How big have zombies become? In late 2011, 24/7 Wall St. conservatively estimated the size of the "zombie" economy to be $5.74 billion! Source (10/31/11 NBCNews.com article by Jon C. Ogg, "Zombies Worth Over $5 Billion to Economy." . Commented Monster Arts CEO and founder Wayne Irving, "We're very excited about development of the new Zombie Slasher® Nashville game. This project is an outgrowth of, and takes inspiration from, Andy's appreciation for the vast size of the Zombie paper targets market, his highly enthusiastic fan base, and, more generally, the huge all-ages consumer demand for "Zombie"-oriented entertainment and game products. We think it will be a big hit with some room to grow!"
