There is some confusion about "bailout", in fact what the TECO Facebook page spells out April 21st was that there was a "Ball out" as in a ball out acid job.
"Good morning! We had an acid breakdown, ballout, and stimulation on the Stockton #2 over the weekend!"
The acid crew sends balls often metal or composite downhole to seal off perforations allowing acid to work in formation. A "bailout" usually refers to a "bailout zone". When going downhole you often encounter various "shows" in the drill samples. IF your permitted and therefore perforated zone doesn't pan out and you've seen good "shows" in the sample, you may go UPHOLE and perforate a "bailout zone". Typically never downhole. You should always start at your deepest productive show and perf uphole.
