GRAPHITE OCCURENCE
☆ Area is largely unexplored and prospective for a larger Graphite ore body
☆ Only Namibian mine to have produced Graphite
☆ Strikes east-west, approx. 30 feet wide and is traceable over a distance of over 1,000 feet
☆ Three parallel lodes have been mined. Veins, lenses and pockets of high grade rock, several centimeters wide, dip 70° to 90° to the south
☆ Fine-flaky to lump-type graphite dominates, with malachite specks, while sulphur occurs along cracks
☆ Graphite veins are flanked by a pale green, highly epidotized and kaolinized granite which is soft and highly decomposed
☆ Parallel stringers of ferruginous and micaceous talcose material are associated with the veins
