I do sometimes,too. I realized yesterday that the reason I keep focusing on the day to day is not because I get a twisted joy from feeling like I am going crazy nor is it because I am looking for the day I awaken to find my account stuffed with money (thought that would certainly make for a good start to the day!).
It is in fact the realization that I have associated the license with a sense of safety about my investment. Alot of the $ I put in I already took out and the remaining shares are "free." (I first bought in the beginning of December 2013) But then, I inherited an IRA from my mom in January that I cashed out in March. Of course I put another $12,000 into FITX and TRTC.
So, I just have this sense of wanting to have done "the right thing" by my mom and the money she worked hard for earlier in her life that was supposed to have supported her retirement.
So that is it for me in a nutshell. The license means to me that I have invested wisely my mom's money that she entrusted to me.
Now that I have that straight in my head... I can relax a bit but boy am I excited...
Someday, I will share the full amusing irony of all this with you guys...
But for now, license=integrity.
