✪ About Next Graphite (OTCBB : GPNE)
Historical Production, Poised to Re-Ignite Operations and Expand
• Next Graphite’s now 90% owned Aukam Graphite Mine was established in 1940 in Namibia and was mined through 1974
• Production was focused on extraction of “surface-visible” vein graphite ore and high grade under ground vein loads
• Approximately 25,000 tons of graphite was produced during its operation
• Aukam Graphite’s yield was never processed on site, rather shipped by rail to South Africa for armaments use
• Adits (tunnels) and stopes (method of recovering ore from underground operations) were developed from 1954 to 1957 until the mine was destroyed by a fire
• Production peaked at 2,600+ tons per year from an area measuring approximately 350mx150mx100m, the shear zone hosting the deposit is believed to contain more than 4 million tons of graphite ore
• In 2014 Next Graphite Management commenced planning to reopen the Aukam Graphite Mine and begin servicing increased worldwide graphite demand in 2015
