Here's some more for TM and the rest of the genius crowd here to figure out....
I personally think this all goes back to when Sterling took over the company in April / May 2012 or thereabouts… I think personally they stepped into a mess. The SEC was already on to PHOT prior through previous correspondence found on Edgar. Was it really current managements fault… or could it be that they took over such a mess that they tried their best to explain the situation as they understood it to be and it became a can of worms.
October 2011, shares increased from 200m to 1B
Look at some of the earlier filings… 3,000,000 shares for a $400 bill??
Stock closing at .51 and opening at 1.01
I haven’t read them very thoroughly but that’s just some things that popped out at me from what I pulled up…. And there seems to be a lot of players in this game.
That coupled with what has been currently going on with the filings might just have added insult to injury.
Again, this is all a guessing game at this point but it might shed a little light as to what could possibly have been the original trigger.
Is it possible that all of these shares from “Affiliates” could have been dumping them on the market and triggered something? I don’t know, again it’s just a guess.
