I think many individuals are unaware of the changes set to occur on the OTCQB starting May 1st. There are roughly 3000 companies listed on the OTCQB currently. For those companies currently listed, they will have to start paying $10,000 annually to remain on the OTCQB. For the first two years, they will only be required to pay $7,500. They will also have to have a minimal bid of .01 for at least one day out of thirty calendar days.
This will be phased in over the course of the year. What are they getting for that? OTC Group's quotation service and news outlet.
Two things to consider and also understand. First being that a lot of "reporting" companies are going to be downgraded either because they refuse to pay or their bid price will not be acceptable. The other is if you think that "OTC Group" is a buy. The yield is currently below 3%(I believe)....from memory .06 per share...current share price $8 and high change..so....if you think companies...or at least some... will comply..well..go from there........start here:
