Thx Chicagoinvestor... Mine is actually my employer sponsored 401(k) and they have allowed us to open a PCRA (personal choice retirement account) through Schwab. I'm very fortunate to have this option available. I have a friend who is employed elsewhere and his employer allowed a similar plan years ago.. He told me most of them lost their shirts in bad judgment and bad investments so the employer stopped providing the option.
