John14:6 , Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." He didn't say come unto me and I'll show you the Way; He said I AM the Way; He didn't say come unto me and I'll show you the Truth; He said I AM the Truth; He didn't say come unto me and I'll show you the Life; He said I AM the Life. If you asked 10 people why they believe they are going to Heaven, unfortunately you'll probably get 7 or 8 with answers like, well, I go to church and read the Bible, I'm a good person, I haven't murdered or raped anyone, I donate a lot of money to hospitals and charities, I'm not a racist and I'm good to my neighbors, etc. All good qualities but none will get you into Heaven. You must come to the Cross, repent of your sins, ask Jesus to forgive you, and accept Jesus as your Savior-nothing other will get you into eternity with God. This may sound harsh or cruel, but I didn't make the rules-I just know I'll be in Heaven the second my earthly body dies. Have a glorious Easter.
