It is nice to be on a board where everyone is looking for facts. Here is what I know:
* On 3/31/14 I bought a case of (6 - 1 liter bottles) at High Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa http://www.hitimewine.net I was told the product was selling extremely well and speculated with the sales person it was probably due to the fact of investors ordering it.
* On 4/18/14 My son picked up another case for me, at High Times Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa. The sale person informed my son they were selling about 1 case per day and they were impressed how well it was selling.
* So far I have given away 3 bottles and shared 2. I have asked for honest opinions and Vodka drinkers really like it including myself. My coworker likes the vodka and has picked up MRIB stock too.
* Based on my knowledge of the alcohol business MRIB is ahead of the game having Marani on a shelf right now. It is my understanding it usually takes at least 1 month to get product from distributor to retailer. MRIB beat this timeline with their distributor Wine Specialty Cellars and retailer High Times Wine Cellars.
* Restaurant Depot is a distributor too. However it operates like a store for restaurant and bar owners/managers. Businesses will be able to place Marani on their shelf for the investment of just 1 bottle.
* I went to my local Restaurant Depot earlier this week. Marani was not on the shelf yet. However based on what they had on the shelf Marani will be their "top shelf" product and with the Marani bottle being an eye catcher I believe a business owner shopping there will give it a try.
* It takes time to build a business and in my opinion MRIB has done great things in a short tome period.
* And I too have received my 5% stock dividend.
Here is what I think:
We can currently purchase an Ultra Premium (excellent tasting) Vodka from a retailer and buy the stock in the .02 - .03 range. What could be better than that? The only thing better is when the product and company take off and we are all successful.
We know what we have and I believe MRIB longs are sitting in a great spot. If stock goes down we can buy more and profit more later, if stock goes up we begin reaping our rewards!
I look forward to the stock market tomorrow however I am real curious where we will be 1, 2 or even 3 years from now.
I am long on MRIB.
