The growth of the Global Zero-calorie Sweetener market is driven by several factors, including the growing health-consciousness across the world. As zero-calorie sweeteners deliver sweetness without adding calories, they are used by those who are health-conscious. One of the key trends in the Global Zero-calorie Sweetener market is the rising consumer income levels in many emerging countries such as China, India, and Brazil. Ongoing economic development has led to an increase in urbanization and consumer income levels in these countries are also rising, thereby increasing purchasing power. Consumers' increasing income has made it easy for them to afford products based on zero-calorie sweeteners which are priced higher than other food and beverage products. The APAC region is expected to be the fastest growing market for zero-calorie sweeteners during the forecast period. Hence, rising consumer income levels will lead to an increase in the demand for zero-calorie sweeteners products in these countries. Further, the report states that one of the main challenges hindering the growth of this market is the negative criticism of artificial sweeteners. Vendors are facing lawsuits as well as negative criticism from public bodies such as consumer rights forums for making false claims about their products. Key vendors dominating this space are: - Cargill Inc. - Cumberland Packaging Corp - Merisant Co - Tate & Lyle plc. Other vendors mentioned in the report are: - Archer Daniels Midland Co - Celanese Corp. - Evolva Holding SA - Hermes Sweetener Ltd - Ingredion Inc. - JK Sucralose Inc. - McNeil Nutritionals LLC - PureCircle Ltd - Roquette Group - The NutraSweet Co. - Zydus Wellness Ltd. . Global Vitamins Market 2014-2018 with Adisseo France S.A.S, Archer Daniels Midland Co., BASF SE, and Royal DSM N.V. Dominating
M2 - Wed Apr 16, 3:30AM CDT
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/62dnhm/global_vitamins) has announced the addition of the "Global Vitamins Market 2014-2018" report to their offering. Many drivers are contributing to the growth of the Global Vitamins market, the most important of which is the increased use of vitamins in functional food and beverages. While vitamins are largely consumed as dietary supplements, their usage in functional food and beverages has increased significantly, thereby contributing to the growth of the market. Cosmeceuticals are cosmetics with pharmacological benefits. The Global Vitamins market is witnessing an increasing demand from the Cosmeceutical industry, which is expected to grow at a CAGR of over 7 percent during the forecast period. The demand for vitamins is particularly strong from the Skin Care segment of the Cosmeceutical industry. Some of the vitamins that are commonly used by this segment are vitamin B3, vitamin K, vitamin E, and vitamin A and its derivatives, such as retinol, retinaldehyde, oxoretinoids, and retinyl esters. Also, cosmeceuticals with vitamins are increasingly used as therapeutic adjuncts. Further, the report states that one of the major challenges in the market is stringent laws and regulations governing the market, which require vendors to face elaborate procedures before the approval of a new ingredient. Such regulations are particularly high in developed regions, such as North America and Europe. Key vendors dominating this space are: - Adisseo France S.A.S - Archer Daniels Midland Co. - BASF SE - Royal DSM N.V.
