In fairness, even if the markers from manufacturing waste could be turned into real diesel, Crayola might not have the volume needed to make a purchase of 20 tons/day processor worthwhile. If their manufacturing process generates 20 tons/day of waste...they had better instead look at improving their wasteful manufacturing process.
That said, if it's not worthwhile to process agricultural plastic from Madison because it's too dirty, which would typically mean that plastic is soiled with too much plant material, then those markers with a big cotton wick inside (40% of the weight??) probably won't work either.
