The only reason they work is because so many short term traders get frustrated when they can't scalp a point within a few hours - days.
If we don't get that 10-K on Monday those that bought in for the short-term will cash out. I'll buy shares from the late sellers. I'm sure all us longs would appreciate some more .003's
