Turn, I know you fairly well from a perceptive stand point and as a optimist when it comes to KMAG, but how you are feeling is probably how many are feeling whether they express it here or not. The fact of the matter is we are in a bad situation which was caused in some part by KMAG. It is not a matter of whether they committed any wrong-doing, of that none of us can say for sure, but we can say for sure is that some of the issues that could have been buried (MM*, etc) where left to fester. That, unfortunately can be perceived as a result of poor planning or poor execution. You know me fairly well form a perceptive stand point as well, and I won't try to convince you to not be worried; you have that right. However, I can try to convince you that at this point you have very little to lose if you hold tight and see where the ship goes. I know it feels a little rudderless when the captain has little to offer or say, I do lay that lack of communication at his feet, but we can only give him the time at this point to try and recover what is presently lost.
Several of the longs have pointed out and correctly so, that the shave we've taken has cut us back to pre-run levels; so we've seen this before and they are correct. Many longs have pointed out that very few shares have been shaken below .003 and they are correct, the pps has held that support level. Many longs have correctly pointed out that the fundamentals (should they be accurate), are unchanged and we still have the opportunity to improve and grow. Many longs have also aptly stated that there is very little we can do but wait as JR attempts to pull us from this market (if he can). Several of us believe he can and many more are relying on it. Others are hoping for it, but hope will continue to fade if the silence grows.
I know I am not offering you a whole lot, but I think I am offering you a glimpse of both sides. It's something I am always willing to look at without fear of rebuttal from others. Looking at it from one perspective is a fool's errand in my opinion. I think you have a right to be concerned. I am as well. However, there is also room for optimism as well. The recovery process is, simply put, a process which can be drawn out beyond what some of us wish to wait.
Remember the bottom line. At this point, your loss is visual and paper. Does it take away from your ability to sell, move along and purchase other positions? Perhaps. However, at this moment, you've lost nothing unless you make the decision to hit the sell button.
If we do go through a long, drawn out period of silence, then I think others who have the same smarts will know, whether they express it here or not, that we have a little more of a problem on our hands than we want. The ball is in your court as it's your pocket, but JR holds the biggest bag with the most on the line here. Personally, I will still give him the benefit of the doubt, wait it out a few more months and see if he can fix some of this mess. Talk soon bro.
