Westbury Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: WBB). Westbury Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company", the holding company for Westbury Bank (the "Bank" announced today that the Boards of Directors of the Company and the Bank have appointed Greg J. Remus, 44, as the Chief Operating Officer of the Company and the Bank. Mr. Remus has been employed by Westbury Bank since 2009, and is currently serving as Senior Vice President of Lending, and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He previously served as Vice President of Commercial Real Estate for M&I Bank from 2004-2009 and, before that, as Vice President Commercial Lending of ISB Community Bank. Mr. Remus holds a degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin. His responsibilities include general oversight of our commercial business, multi-family and commercial real estate loan portfolio, including credit quality, underwriting, administration, collections, loan yield pricing and portfolio growth. Mr. Remus will continue to serve as Senior Vice President of Lending of the Bank. In addition, in his new role, Mr. Remus will be focused on the Bank's continuing commitment to transform itself into a community-focused commercial bank. Westbury Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: WBB) the holding company for Westbury Bank, today announced earnings of $721,000, for the nine months ended June 30, 2013, compared to a net loss of $3.7 million for the nine months ended June 2012, an improvement of $4.4 million. As a result of a one-time contribution of $1.0 million to the Westbury Bank Charitable Foundation as contemplated by our Plan of Conversion, we reported a net loss of $446,000 for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 compared to a net loss for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 of $78,000. Without the effect of the planned one-time contribution to the Charitable Foundation, earnings for the nine months ended June 30, 2013, were $1.3 million compared to a loss of $3.7 million for the same period in the prior year. Adjusted for the one-time contribution to the Charitable Foundation, earnings for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 were $154,000 compared to a net loss of $78,000 for the June 2012 quarter.
