Seems Dave just thanked the antsy types for pushing for change in the organization. On behalf of those that won't settle for mediocre, You're welcome Dave! Actually, thank you so much!
Dave here's some advice: DO NOT underestimate your business acumen or your role on the board. It's not an honorary or symbolic seat, you have a fiduciary responsibility now regardless of how you want your role to look. We all have to take the good with the bad in our jobs. I trust your judgement. Please do not underestimate yourself. Please don't let HJ snake-charm anything by the board that doesn't pass the smell test. The best question you can ask is... why?
