Discovery Minerals LTD Provides Shareholder Update
RENO, NV--(Marketwired - Apr 16, 2014) - Discovery Minerals LTD. (OTC Pink: DSCR) (PINKSHEETS: DSCR) is pleased to provide further insight into its collaboration with Infinite Healthcare Solutions Inc., and the development of a seed to sale software platform servicing the medicinal marijuana industry.
The collaborative effort defines Seed to Sale as a data collection and tracking system scalable to accommodate commercial clients needs (Growers and Dispensers) while meeting State/Federal mandated requirements within the medicinal marijuana industry. The collected data, known as the analytics, is intended to enable governing bodies to provide safe and easy access for patients. The additional potential ability for outside agencies to integrate their systems to access this data is an attractive feature being considered. The Seed to sale model will incorporate an array of "off the shelf" existing technology, such as radio frequency (RFID), barcode technology and GPS tracking components, in addition to potential proprietary UV coding technology.
The collaborative effort also has identified and understands that the human component is directly related to the quality of the data. With the ease of use factor, quality controls can be fulfilled without a large learning curve by employees. Lastly, the system intends to manage data regarding crop growth, inventory and spoilage, point of sale and patient compliance.
