Agreed; who needs Treaty right now and Treaty doesn't need SLB or their outrageous costs so "all is fair in love and war". Treaty hired subject matter experts in perfing and acidizing just as Schlumberger is required to hire. The only reason any company has become a large service company is due to the excellent job of their employees i.e. the men that perf and acidize the wells, the marketing and sales team, and the rest of the employment team. Treaty recently filed for an employee stock purchase program and I suppose it is to attract highly qualified drillers and other well completion skills. Why rely or be hostage to other third party arrogant aholes; when you have the capability of running the show yourself by just hiring the correct personnel, tools, and supplies. Self reliance with the properly skilled incentivized personel is the way to go IMO. If I worked for Schlumberger making $150k/yr with some stock options but Treaty offered me $125k/yr with 5mm shares of stock options as a sign on bonus and I knew what I know now; I would beg Treaty for the job! Two short years from now and Schlumberger will be begging Treaty to work some of there 250 proposed new wells in Belize. IMHO
