The internet is a public entity, so that's a funny joke. You can't insider trade via Facebook because making a Facebook post provides equal access to information for everyone. I've seen a dumb lawyer try to argue that Facebook is private in court, the judge almost laughed and explained that posting on Facebook allows anyone to gain access to the information. That insider argument will never fly.
