I have seen so many number crunching on the possible pps of FITX down the road that it isn't funny.
Your numbers are actually quite simple and very easy to follow and comprehend.
Your first math calculation was based on 1 times earnings (after eventually producing 1 million lbs annually)
Then you continued your math based on a "multiplier" of 3 and then 5
However no one truly knows what that eventual multiplying factor will be.
Most guestimations that I have read posted on this board have been a multiplier of between 12 and 16 times earnings. WHICH IF TRUE BLOWS YOUR PPS OUT OF THE WATER.
I personally made quite a bit of money trading in 3D printing stocks in 2013 and sold all of those positions to pump the money into FITX.
The PPS of the 3D printing stocks within the space has currently settled down into something more realistic, however at the peak of the HYPE and the Mania surrounding it they were trading at 70 times earnings based on future potential.
So try to imagine the possibilities of FITX after posting 2 years of earnings on the books and after they have been uplisted for about a year prior to that to a MAJOR exchange. Maybe with the Hype and the Mania driving it perhaps they trade for a few weeks anyhow at 25 to 50 times earnings.
That would make FITX pps at 25 times earnings to be trading at $16.47 and 50 times earnings to be $32.94
One of the bigger challenges facing FITX in addition to the O/S is the competition. When trading in the 3D space I found that if another company that I had a smaller position in had a bad quarterly earnings report then the other company that I held a larger position in would tank simply by being in the same sector and they were GUILTY by association.
I'm also a MOTLEY FOOL subscriber and they constantly talk about having a "MOAT" that protects a company by being the only one operating in that industry...or perhaps one out of 2 or 3 companies within the space.
FITX definitely has competition. And if a handful of the competitors struggle then that sinking ship can and will drag down the pps of FITX...but if "The Bill" executes his plan then there will be plenty of rewards for those invested here.
